In EMDR therapy we have a simple tool to come back into the present moment - your therapist may ask 'How far back in your head are you now?' or "How present are you on a scale of 0-10 where 10 is fully here"?


And then we invite you to come all the way back to the room, as slowly as you need to.


Many people find this is a safe and helpful way to reduce repetitive worrying.
